FS2004 Embraer 120 2D panel v 2.0.

Upgraded with new engine gauges more accurate, better centered needles, new instruments as dual timer, OAT, digital fuel indicator , ... and some other improvements. For the really beautiful "Brazilia" designed by Eric Cantu.

NOT for FSX !

Those "home made" gauges have been designed with the MSXML language and with the help of the SDK distibuted by Microsoft.
Of course I had a look on several tutorials, especially by Arne Bartels, Dai Griffith, Stéphane Lavergne (in French - merci Stéphane) and mainly N. E. Pike. I have to confess that I deeply analyse the works of several specialists and particularly Ken Mitchell, Paul Golding, Jorge Salas and Marco Spada.

I made also some progress in XML programming (happily ! ; - ))

MSFS gauges transformed, adapted ... (bitmap, scales and/or characteristics) : Altimeter, ASI, RMI, Rudder trim, Stanby Attitude gauge, Throttle, Trim indicator, compass.

Most of the gauges from my emb120 v1.1 with added/modified :

Engine gauges more accurate, better centered needles
Digital Fuel Quantity Indicator : percent, gallons, pounds
Timer with dual time
Modifying of standby frequencies
OAT
Trim centered
Night lighting ("Luminous")

Installation :

1. Unzip "Panel.FP2" in FS\Aircraft\Choosenairplane\
2. Unzip the two cab files in the FS\Gauges\ general folder (cpt.toggles.king is still unchanged)
3. In the "aircraft.cfg" file of the "Choosenairplane" add the following text below the group [fltsim.x]:

[fltsim.x+1]
title=EMB120 panel FP2
sim=as found in [fltsim.x]
model= ''let it blank or as found in [fltsim.x]
panel=FP2
sound= ''let it blank or as found in [fltsim.x]
texture= ''let it blank or as found in [fltsim.x]
checklists= ''let it blank or as found in [fltsim.x]
...
in ui_variation= write a memo
or in descrition= write a memo
...

4. There are different FDE settings by Alexander Alves and by Bob Chicilo - not include it's up to you !

======================================================================================
WARNING :

1. It's surely not perfect but .... I'm slightly progressing. Don't hesitate to advice, criticize, ... !
2. I modified the name of the files to avoid confusion with the former panel and gauges cab files which can be deleted (but will not interfere with this update). Former pack for v1.1 : FPEM120T.zip
3. It doesn't work for FSX - unhappily but I will be ready when ....
