FS2004/FS2002 Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina from Squadron VP-44, operating out of Midway in June, 1942 and participated in the search for the Japanese fleet prior to the Battle of Midway. This texture depicts the aircraft shown in the painting, "Looking for Nagumo" by Craig Kodera (see http://www.aviatorart.com/kodera/k-look.htm).

These are textures only. You will need spby5a.zip from http://www.pmstone.com/. Be sure you download the version with the chin turret, dated March 21, 2004. These textures were painted using the blank masters provided by Mike Stone.

Any questions about these textures should be sent to me, Carey Furlong, at Stratocruiser@cox.net

TEXTURE INSTALLATION:

Unzip texture.vp44 and place it into your PBY5a aircraft folder.
Open the Aircraft.cfg file and copy and paste the below fltsim.X info after the last flitsim.# in your aircraft.cfg. Then change the "X" in flitsim.X to the next fltsim # in sequence. Example: If fltsim.4 is the last one currently in your aircraft.cfg file then chg the "X" in the info below that you pasted in to a 5. So it now will read fltsim.5. Remember to save your file when you've completed the changes.
