*********************************************************************************
* Aermacchi Mb339 CD FOR FSX - May 2009 *
* English version *
*********************************************************************************
file: M339CFSX.zip

This is a full package (aircraft panel and sound) and it is for FSX. There is also a specific version for FS2004.
To make this version of the aircraft i started modifying in some extent the exterior of my MB339PAN model , which i made some time ago in collaboration with Paolo Zamparo. Due to the completely different panel used in the 339-CD version I had to rebuild all the Virtual cockpit and panel. The Flight Dynamics files have been modified to make them more like the original aircraft.
This model features reflective skin and full animations.
Two Italian Air Force liveries are provided,

FOREWORD
==========
Aermacchi developed this model as an improvement of the original MB339-A PAN "Pattuglia acrobatica nazionale" the version currently used by the Frecce tricolori acrobatic team. The MB339-CD instead is currently used by the Italian Air Force advanced trainer school at Lecce.

IMPORTANT!
===========
You MUST also insert the enclosed 'GaugeSound.dll' in the Main Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder, otherwise you will experience an FS crash!!

The panel background is based on photographic material found on the net.
Included in this model there is also a Virtual Cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls. I tried to recreate to my best the real looking of the panel.

The model even if has been designed for Fs2004 seems to behave well with not manifest problems also with FSX sp2 and Accelerator, I cannot declare however that the same is also with the former version fsx sp1.

INSTALLATION
============

Extract this file M339CFSX.zip into a temporary folder of your Hard Disk (for example C:\Temp). Make sure the "Use Folder names" BOX is checked in WINZIP. You'll find then a set of folders , some texts like this one, a picture of the model and the file GaugeSound.dll .

STEP 1- Copy/paste the contents of "effects" folder in the corresponding effects folder.
STEP 2- Copy/paste the contents of the "Sound" folder in the corresponding Sound folder of FSX.
Step 3- Copy/Paste the enclosed 'GaugeSound.dll' in your main Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder (if you don't have it yet).
Step 4- copy/paste folder "Aermacchi MB339 CD" into FSX SimObjects\Airplanes folder.
We think this should be the end of the installation procedure.

Note 1:
Loading the aircraft for the first time you will get an 'unknown author' message for each of our gauges.
Click 'YES' if you like our gauges or 'NO' if you don't. If you say 'NO' you will not have our instruments displayed on the panel, except the default ones.

Note 2:
You will get a second message asking you to "trust" the related gauge; if you "trust" it and say "Yes" when asked, you will never be asked again.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BOTH MESSAGES .

...Many happy landings!
