* Tupolev 154B-2 Sound Set *

GENERAL:
The Tupolev 154 is the standard mid range airliner in the former Soviet Union and many other nations. The Tu-154B-2 is powered by 3 Kuznetsov NK-8-2U turbofans and first flew in 1968. It entered servide in 1972 and since then 935 units have been constructed, 607 of which are the early Tu-154/A/B and the rest are the M series with Soloviev D30KU turbofans. This sound set is compiled completely from real recordings of the Tu-154B-2 with NK-8 engines, mostly from Malev and TAROM aircraft. Also, I send my many thanks to Derek Beal, who extensively tested and validated the sounds!
INSTALLATION:
Simply extract to your favourite Tu-154's directory, alternatively, extract to its own folder and alias all sounds from there.
Also, delete the [SOUND] section of FS2002.cfg and add:
This sound set is freeware. It is not to be sold in any way or uploaded to any BBS which require pay-for-use. Penalties include forced exposure to the noise or a REAL NK-8-2U from a distance of 10 feet or less without any hearing protection. We hold the copyrights on this work and we will protect them.
