Luft'46 Art Aircraft Series No.10

Junkers Ju Unname Ground Attacker

by Kazunori Ito

*******************************************************************************

This aircraft is an completely unknown aircraft.
In the WWII end, it is one of the original bills of the aircraft development that a German air force planned.

This aircraft seems to have been designed originally for two crew.
However, there is no room that two people can get on.
This aircraft is getting on of one person even if it thinks from the shape of the cockpit.
How do it become it?
Anyway, it seems that it is likely to have become an advanced aircraft with a performance near A-10.
It is terrible.
This airframe is made to equip the air brake and the spoiler that doesn't exist in the explanation.
It is because of the desire that slowing down is necessary for improving the hit accuracy of the ground-attack aircraft.
The much more, because it is an attack machine in the age without the inducement device.
Though it is likely to have done a little too much....................

--------------------------------------------------------------------

In the middle of 1944, the Junkers aircraft company worked on a project for a low-level ground attack aircraft to replace the Henschel Hs 129 ground attack aircraft.
The fuselage was stout and tapered, and was armored throughout.
Fuel was contained entirely in the armored fuselage.
The wings were straight and exhibited taper on both the leading and trailing edges.
A twin fin and rudder configuration was chosen with the tailplanes being horizontal.
The engines were to be two Daimler Benz ZTL 109-007 double-bypass jet engines and were mounted in the wing roots.
These engines were designed to allow a considerable increase in power but had a reduced fuel consumption and were designed by Prof. Dr. -Ing. Karl Leist.
As a consequence of the secondary compressed airflow circuit, the intake and overall diameter of the engine was larger than the BMW 003 or Jumo 004 jet engines.
The main landing gear retracted sideways into the fuselage, and the nose "gear" consisted of a retractable, pneumatically sprung skid.
Two men comprised the crew and they sat in a cockpit in the aircraft's nose.
Armament was to consist of one MK 103 30mm cannon in the nose and two MG 151/20 20mm cannon in the lower wing roots.
The engine development dragged on at Daimler-Benz, and the fact that they started rather late in the war led to all development being stopped on this Junkers aircraft project, especially since this airframe was designed around these engines.
In a way, the design lived on with the US Fairchild A-10 "Thunderbolt II" or "Warthog".

[ About the installation ]

The airframe must copy the \Ju Ground Attacker folder as it is in the Aircraft folder of FS2002 or FS2004.

\FS2002(FS2004)
-----\Aircraft
---------\Ju Ground Attacker

Please copy all files in the \gauges folder onto the gauge in the Gauges folder of FS2002 or FS2004.
A general gauge is saved for the gauge bundled this time.
GPS gauges and AfterBurner Effects are not bundled.
Please introduce it by yourself.

[ About the operations ]

A special key operation is not used for this model.

"/" = AirBrake and Spoiler Open/Shut
Shift+"E" = Canopy Open/Shut

[ About free software ]

All aircraft that I made are free software.
The reprint and the repaint may go freely.
However, please defend the following conditions.

1.The change in contents of this file is prohibited.
(Please distribute it like the Zip file of the current state when distributing it. )
2.Please neither reverse-assembly nor never remodel it of the aircraft model.
3.Please open only the texture to the public when you open the repaint to the public.
(Opening in the state to bundle my aircraft model to the public is prohibited. )
4.It is prohibited to bundle and to open a new panel to the public to my aircraft model.
(Please open only the panel to the public.
It is included in this file, and remodeling the panel that uses the panel background and the change in the panel background are prohibited. )
5.I maintain the copyright of the aircraft model and the panel background.
6.The copyright of the gauge belongs to the author.

---------------------------------------------------------
[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

This aircraft model is made by using FSDS Ver2.24.
Therefore, it is possible to play basically in FS2004(FS9).
However........!!
For a wide large-scale aircraft, the distortion is caused and the phenomenon of the aerofoil tip's disappearing happens in the spot shooting mode.
If this phenomenon happens, Please switch to the spot shooting mode by using other small aircraft.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is selected, it is normally displayed.
