Luft'46 Art Aircraft Series No.8

Focke-Wulf FW1000x1000x1000 Projects Type A

by Kazunori Ito

*******************************************************************************

This aircraft is an completely unknown aircraft.
In the WWII end, it is one of the original bills of the aircraft development that a German air force planned.

Was the German at World War II small?
When is made in dimension in the Specification table, the pilot is not taken.
It is negligent!!

Anyway, it is a small, high-speed bomber of two engines this time.
I recalled E.E.Canberra when I saw this performance and shape.
I think that It is not only me that think like that, perhaps.
Though shape is not interesting.......................

--------------------------------------------------------------------

In 1944, Focke-Wulf created three designs for a bomber using two Heinkel-Hirth He S 011 turbojets.
These bombers were known under the name of the 1000x1000x1000 Bomber-Projekt and were under the direction of Dipl.-Ing. H. von Halem and D. Kuchemann.
The designation meant that the aircraft could carry a 1000 kg (2205 lbs) bomb load 1000 km (621 miles) and fly at 1000 km/h (621 mph).
The first design under the design number 031 0239/01 was for a fairly conventional layout. The fuselage was long and tapered aft of the wing leading edge.
Fuel was carried in several tanks located within the fuselage. The wings were thin and swept back at 35 degrees .
Two Heinkel-Hirth He S 011 jet engines each developing 1300 kg (2866 lbs) of thrust were slung beneath the wings.
Although the engines would cause more drag in this location, maintenance accessibility would be improved and a shorter design time would be achieved.
The tail planes were also swept back; this along with the wing sweep and the fuselage thinning aft of the wing leading edge would help achieve the Mach number of .90.
The main gear were mounted just inboard of the jet nacelles and retracted in and forward; the nose gear was beneath the cockpit and retracted to the rear.
A single pilot sat in a cockpit located in the nose and afforded fairly good visibility.
No armament was planned at this stage, and the bomb load of 1000 kg (2205 lbs) was carried in an internal bomb bay.

[ About the installation ]

The airframe must copy the \FW1000x3A folder as it is in the Aircraft folder of FS2002 or FS2004.

\FS2002(FS2004)
-----\Aircraft
---------\FW1000x3A

Please copy all files in the \gauges folder onto the gauge in the Gauges folder of FS2002 or FS2004.
A general gauge is saved for the gauge bundled this time.
Beach_baron, EXTRA-300, GPS gauges are necessary besides the bundled gauge.
It is necessary to introduce no possession of these gauges separately.

[ About the operations ]

A special key operation is not used for this model.

[ About free software ]

All aircraft that I made are free software.
The reprint and the repaint may go freely.
However, please defend the following conditions.

1.The change in contents of this file is prohibited.
(Please distribute it like the Zip file of the current state when distributing it. )
2.Please neither reverse-assembly nor never remodel it of the aircraft model.
3.Please open only the texture to the public when you open the repaint to the public.
(Opening in the state to bundle my aircraft model to the public is prohibited. )
4.It is prohibited to bundle and to open a new panel to the public to my aircraft model.
(Please open only the panel to the public.
It is included in this file, and remodeling the panel that uses the panel background and the change in the panel background are prohibited. )
5.I maintain the copyright of the aircraft model and the panel background.
6.The copyright of the gauge belongs to the author.

[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

This aircraft model is made by using FSDS Ver2.24.
Therefore, it is possible to play basically in FS2004(FS9).
However........!!
For a wide large-scale aircraft, the distortion is caused and the phenomenon of the aerofoil tip's disappearing happens in the spot shooting mode.
If this phenomenon happens, Please switch to the spot shooting mode by using other small aircraft.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is selected, it is normally displayed.
