Scenery of Quixada City, that is located in northeast of Brazil in South America (staty of Ceara).
(S 04º 58.83' - W 038º 58.97'- (SB0R)
Region spotted with monoliths os rare beauty. From November 20th to 27th, Quixadá will, once again, be
the "World Cross Country Capital", receiving pilots from all over the world for the great XC challenge
through the Brazilian free flying paradise.
The event XCeará, is a Cross Country event, getting pilots together trying to brake their own records
and also local, continental and worlds records. It is, above all, a meeting of pilots from all over
the world, flying together with the same aim: fly as far and as fun as possible.
The friendly atmosphere is the trade markof this big fun event. For more information, please visit

INSTALLATION !
need some steps:
1- Visit the site www.fsim.com.br/fsa/planobr2004/planobr.htm and click on word CEARA (on botton of this page)
and download the file ce_relevo-fsa.ZiP - 23Mb, save it in some directory, Extract it and
copy the file CE_RELEVO.bgl to ... Microsoft Games/Addon Scenery/scenery.
2) Unzip the file Quixada.zip to directory that you wish and please.
2- Copy HP937330.bgl to Microsoft Games/scenery/Same/scenery/ overight the original.
- Dont worry (its necessary for correct level of landclasses, it afects only this area)
3- Copy Normal4 to Microsoft Games/Scenery/World/texture
4 - Copy all files of Texture diretory to Flight Simulator\Scenery\World\Texture
overighting the defaults (more realist).
ATTENTION !!!! ******* Backup de default before to overwrite !!!! ********* if
you wish to return to original.
5 - Copy the Quixada Directory with scenery and textures to Flight Simulator/Addon Scenery or
where you prefer.
6)- Start FS2004 and:
- ATIVE in Scenery Library the directory Flight Simulator/Addon Scenery
7) - ATIVE in Scenery Library the directory Flight Simulator/Addon Scenery/ Quixada or where you copied it.
OBS * If you set the AUTOGEN in MAX the scenery will be nore realistic!
** If you want to fly with a Cosmos Ultralight trike, Plase copy Trike in the Option directory
to Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft.
*** Fictius NDB, frequency 300kHz ...

40 km em via de mão-dupla em razoável estado. Rodovia do algodão - 100 km de estrada em excelente estado.
Acesso a rampa. Parte com calçamento em paralelepipedo, 250 mts em estrada de terra e todo o restante asfaltado
ou Rodovia estadual - CE 060 160 km em excelente estado de conservação.

The ramp is 12 km from Quixadá following a dirt road in reasonably good condition.
Decolagem / Take-off:Rampa de Madeira e decolagem natural em areia.
One wooden ramp for hang-gliders and natural for paragliders. There is a project for developing a natural ramp.
Pouso / Landing: Fácil. Várias opções em frente a decolagem. Distância aproximada de 500 metros.

Melhor Época / Best Season:Junho e Julho (menos vento); Novembro e dezembro (teto mais alto).
