CREDITS

Thanks to:

Dave Haskell, for his original picture of a Kfir, you may reach him at:
dave@haskell.demon.co.uk

Mike Mc Cormick, for his original panel for Mirage F1AZ and for letting me use some of his gauges. Again, all my
apologizes, Mike. You know why. You may reach him at:
mikem@pasdec.co.za

Chuck Dome and others for theirs gauges. I don't know the authors of the numerous gauges i used. SO,
JUST LET ME KNOW, I WOULD BE PLEASED TO ADD THEM TO THE CREDITS.

This cockpit was built with PANELBUILDER for FS98.

GENERAL NOTES

Suitable for 3D card. If you haven't the "Glide" graphic mode and if the panel is blind, just open paintbrush and
change the "window" color for black.

I designed this panel from an original Kfir panel by Dave Haskell- his author allowed to use parts of his
picture in further panels- and from a F1 panel and gauges from Mike McCormick.
Since i didn't owned a "head on" picture of the IIIC cockpit, i used the Kfir picture and greatly modify it in order to match the IIIC.
I also used two others photographs for details.
I tried to make it accurate and enjoyable to fly. This panel is suitable forMirage IIIC only. Mirage IIIC and E versions
knew numerous changes in theirs layouts as you could see in the .JPEG pictures i attached. So i chose to work on the
early french Armée de l'Air version of the plane. If you have comment that could add to the accuracy of that panel,
please go forward. Some gauges, such as the AOA indicator and the radios, are not accurate but are very useful.

The french mirage III first flew in 1956 and entered service in l'Armée de l'Air in 1959.
It was a delta winged fighter/interceptor capable of mach 2+ and 55000 feet. The plane was hard to fly at low speed
but had terrific handling in combat. Most of the victories scored by the Israelians during the 1967 "six days" war were
due to the french fighter capabilities. The mirage series were widly exported and knew numerous versions. The thread is
not dead today, since the Mirage 2000C and -5 are far off-spring of the genuine mirage whom it took the shape and
general aspect. Mirage were also localy upgraded such as the "Cheetah" from South Africa, and the "Nesher" and "Kfir" in Israel.
I dedicate it to my father who would have loved to fly it.

INSTALLATION:

Just extract the MIIIgauges.ZIP file in your FS98/GAUGES directory. Unzip the remaining files in the
PANEL directory of the aircraft of your choice.

WARNING: Make sure that Winzip did NOT rewrite the original path, the files must be copied in the correct
directories. Use Windows explorer to check it.

NOTE: Sorry, no flaps, that is a Delta !!!

Enjoy !
