Thanks for downloading my aircraft lighting package.

I have included 3 sets of lights: High, Medium and Low Intensity.

Each folder contains 3 files which control the Green, Red and white lights.

The texture folder in this package contains 3 textures, each of 256x256 pixels and 65KB in size.

-------------
Installation:
-------------

1. Decide which intensity of lights you would like to use.
2. Open that folder (in effects in this package) and copy the 3 .FX files into FS9/Effects.
3. Open the texture folder and copy the 3 textures to FS9/Effects/Texture.
4. Decide which aircraft you would like the lights to appear on.

5. BACK-UP the 'Aircraft.CFG' just incase you want to revert back to the old settings!!

6. Open the 'Aircraft.CFG' file for that aircraft.
7. From within the CFG locate the following section:

[LIGHTS]

8. You will probably see a number of lights already present named "light.0" "light.1" etc...

Look to the right of each light and you will see an effect name, such as:

"fx_navredh", "fx_Navgreenh" - These names may differ depending on the aircraft.

9. Identify which is the RED light and change ONLY the effect name to:

NAV_Red

10. Identify which is the GREEN light and change ONLY the effect name to:

NAV_Green

11. Identify which is the WHITE light and change ONLY the effect name to:

NAV_White

Note: The aicraft may or may not have the white light. Sometimes it can be a position/wing light.

12. Save the 'Aircraft.CFG' file with the new changes.

Thats it!!

Load up FS9, select your aircraft and turn the lights on. For best conditions, set the time of day to NIGHT.

Thanks
