LLBG (Ben Gurion) Scenery Ver 4.1 for FS2000
Copyright 2001 - Alexander Lawrence

General Information
===================
Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG) is the international gateway to Israel. Currently, due to the significant increase in traffic, the Airports Authority is building a new terminal with three satellites - called Ben Gurion 2000, something which will bring LLBG into the league of Malpensa 2000.
Close to the airport, the Airport City is being built - an impressive business complex which will offer malls, recreationa and business facilities.
Although plagued by contactors' financial troubles, the work on the new terminal has picked up and it is scheduled for opening in 2003.
This scenery was developed for EOAC VA (http://eoac.tripod.com/index.html) and has specific parking slots for their airplanes.

The standard MSFS2K scenery for LLBG is generally OK but I felt the need to add all those missing signs, lights, parked aircraft and of course, the custom roads, terminal and parkings. In addition, the new BG2000 terminal with the cranes lends a bit of reality as well. For those with FSTraffic, I have provided a new set of ground and air traffic which is very close to what usually happens at Ben Gurion. I do recommend purchasing FSTraffic from Lago as it adds a new dimension to the simulated airports - you'll never feel lonely again (when flying offline that is).

The TIF file contains an airport parkings diagram with the EOAC parking slots marked and identified for different aircraft classes.

This scenery is a work in progress and I will release updates from time to time, but please don't hurry me - I am as busy as I can get and this work and sharing it with others is done purely for my personal enjoyment.

Installation:
=============
As usual in FS2K. BGL and XCL files in the scenery directory, and BMP, R8, etc. files in the Texture directory. Define the scenery from the World/Files FS2K menu.
The STX file is an import traffic file for FSTraffic (purchase it from Lago - I canot recommend it enough!) Copy this file into the Import directory of FSTraffic and then import it from within the FSTraffic menu.

Credits anmd thanks:

- Thanks to all those who provided the visuals for the El-Al planes (although I did tinker with the models to add the missing shadows!).
- Thanks the creators of Airport 2.6 - Pascal Meziat, Tom Hiscox, Brian McWilliams - where is version 3?
- Thanks to Manfred Moldenhauer for the SCASM which I have been using since FS 5.1!
- Thanks to Matthias Bruekner for the excellent EOD - man, you are good!
