Redding Municipal Airport Scenery
Redding, California

July 16, 2004

Redding Municipal Airport serves northern California. The City of Redding is found about 285 miles north of Sacramento at the upper end of the Sacramento Valley. Looking north one can see Mt. Shasta. Looking east we look at
Mt. Lassen. Looking west we see the Trinity Alps. To the south is the Sacramento Valley.

Redding is a growing community of about 150,000 population with industry and unlimited recreational opportunities.

This is the second version of KRDD or Redding Municipal Airport. The first version was created to work with FS2002. Since that time the airport has changed significantly. I have used a make of the airport and actual photographs to make the simulated airport as realistic as possible. I have flown out of the facility many times in commercial and private aircraft. At the northern end of the runway we have the USFS and CDF firefighting facilities. This is included along with static aircraft. At the southern end of the runway we have the FedEx building. This is included as well. If you have questions or input please send me an email.

Intallation: Copy the folder ReddingMuni into our FS9 Add on Scenery folder.
Start FS9 and under setting go to scenery installation. Add Redding Municipal in the usual manner.

I have included some pictures in a separate folder so you can see what the area should look like.

The scenery is produced as freeware for anyone to use. No changes can be made to this scenery without first contacting me. This scenery may not be used for any purpose involving financial gain.
