Turn on word wrap (under edit) if you are using notepad.
Installation:
Since this scenery is designed to work with terrain mesh, it will require the manual additions of "flatten switches". Apparently terrain mesh cancels out flatten switches which are installed automatically. Follow the directions below.
1. Start FS2000.
2. Select WORLD MENU.
3. Select SCENERY LIBRARY.
4. Select ADD AREA.
5. Locate and highlight "akcm7" in the browser.
6. Type: "akcm7" in the SCENERY AREA TITLE box and click OK.
7. Click the green checkmark, and wait until screen images settle down.
Installation of Flatten Switches:
1. Open the file called "Flatten Switches"
2. Using the "copy" feature in the Edit menu of note pad, copy the flatten switches.
3. Paste the switches into the FS2000 scenery.cfg file under the akcm7 code *(see note).
When you are finished, the akcm7 area of your scenery.cfg file should look something like this, except that the layer number will probably be different:
4. Save the changes.
5. Restart FS2000.

Locating airports:
1. Start FS2000.
2. Open World.
3. Open Go To Airports.
4. Open Sceneries from FS95 and before.
5. Select desired airport.
If you have problems installing this scenery, you can e-mail me at dave@libby.org.

*(Note)
If you have not installed scenery like this before, you will find the scenery.cfg file in the main directory of FS2000.
If this file does not appear in the directory, click on view, and make sure that "folder options"/"view" are set to "show all files" and that "file extensions are NOT hidden".
You will find your data for "akcm7" at the bottom of the scenery.cfg file.

Hint:
If animals and fences show up as pictures on black billboards, click on "options"/ "settings"/"display"/. Then click on the tab that says "image quality", and remove the check from the box that says, "ground scenery shadows".
