-------------
Background
-------------
The EMB-120 is one of 2 aircraft types flown by Great Lakes Airlines, a United States domestic, regional carrier. Great Lakes provides scheduled passenger service to 59 airports in 15 states throughout the North Central and Southwestern United States using a fleet of 6 Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and 30+ Beech B1900D's. Great Lakes operates hubs at approximately eight US airports, with Denver International (KDEN) seeing the greatest number of Great Lakes flights. This repaint is one of Great Lakes' 6 EMB-120's and bears registration N299UX. It is one of the oldest EMB120's in Great Lakes' fleet, beginning its life in the mid 1990's. I experimented with a technique of repainting this aircraft that was intended to bring out the details in the blank textures provided in the paint kit by Adriano Martoni. The fuselage and tail textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no-mips.

Installation Instructions:
----------------------------
Prerequisites:
As this is a "textures only" package, you must have Erick Cantu's Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia base package installed. Here is the link at SurClaro.com for that package: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004ac&DLID=95277

Once you have installed the model (or if you already have it installed), extract the contents of this zip file into the folder that contains your Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia. Remember to use the "Use Folder Names" option. The extraction will create textures folder named texture.GLA_N299UX. It will also create a file named fltsim.GLA_N299UX.txt. That file contains the entries that must be added to your Aircraft.cfg file following the last entry. Simply change the 'X' in the [fltsim.X] header to the next sequential number in your aircraft.cfg file. For example, if the last entry is [fltsim.1] then change the 'X' to 2. Start FS9 and look for the aircraft under the Manufacturer Embraer-Cantu, the type of EMB120 and the variation 'Great Lakes Airlines - N299UX'.

Other Enhancements:
-------------------------
I suggest that if you want an "as real as it gets" experience in your Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia, download and install the following:

Panel:
------
There are several well done freeware Embraer Brasilia panels available, one by Pierre Fasseaux and the other by Marcus Gama. In my opinion Marcus Gama's EMB-120 is quite realistic. To get it, you will need the following file at SurClaro.com:

- e120v1.1-fs9.zip

---------
Credits:
