Learjet 45 AW

Learjet 45 repaint and modifications for FS2002 By Jorge Salas.

NOTES:
-----
The default Learjet has gotten a really bad rap because of its flight dynamics.
It was difficult and absolutely no fun to fly. Enter Al Whitney, who has modified
the flight dynamics of the default Lear now since FS98. This latest version of his
flight dynamics for the Lear 45 is his best yet and make the plane a true pleasure
to fly. Included is a brand new AIR file and new aircraft.cfg file which he has created.

The Lear now can easily be hand flown, and moves through the air like a beautiful song.

The plane includes all new custom sounds by the fabulous Aaaron Swindle, and a custom
panel and paint job by me. The paint job is the default scheme, but touched up and
given some new subtle coloring.

The custom panel includes a tru ROSE/ARC, the fabulous Honeywell GPS by Ike Slack and the wonderful
fuel status gauge by Bob Guy. All of these elements are seamlessly integrated into the
panel with toggled windows. The panel also has new custom night lighting. The ROSE/ARC
buttons at the bottom of the unit are fully functional, play with them. The honeywell
gps buttons on the bottom are also functional and labeled. See the images in the
screenshots folder for details.

A smoke/contrails system has also been setup which uses the default white smoke effect.
Press "I" while in flight and go to spot view to see the effect. (Look in the
SurClaro library for some more smoke effects for the lear. Do a search for
"Lear" and "smoke" in the library.)

The aircraft.cfg file has been setup with full FS2002 information, the new Lear will
show up in your airplanes menu-->Learjet menu as a new entry called "Learjet AW". The
checklists, notes and reference information are part of the Whitney FDE package and
are already set up for use.

INSTALLATION:
-----
This will create a brand new Lear 45 and not mess with the default one in any way whatsoever.

Simply unzip to a temporary folder, move the contents of the "Gauges" folder into your
FS2002/Gauges folder and move the "Lear 45 AW" folder into the FS2002/Aircraft folder.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!

There is ONE little thing you must do in order to get this package to work. Since the plane
is the default FS2002 Learjet, I assume it cannot be redistributed in complete form.
To get the plane to work, you MUST copy the contents of the default Lear 45 "model"
folder into the model folder for this plane, which is empty. There should be two files which need
to be copied. "lear45.mdl", and "model.cfg". The path for the default lear model files
should be FS2002/lear45/model. These files should be COPIED, not moved as this would
render the default lear45 unusable and the FS2002 AI would be unable to use it as well.
