FS2002 Hawaiian Airlines Boeing 757-200 Dual Pack, version 2.0!!
======================================
Now for the first time available for FS!!

These are by far the most excellent, BEAUTIFUL 757s I have ever seen and ever painted! I worked long and hard on them just so you could have the best 757s out there, I hope you like them!!

What made these aircraft a reality?

When Hawaiian and Aloha Airlines announded their merger on December 19th, 2001, Greg Brenneman, who helped Continental Airlines make a fantastic turnaround in the early 1990s, was selected to run the new company which would be formed by the merger: Hawaiian Airlines II.

When he was selected to head this position, he announced some of his future plans for Hawaiian II, which included the possibility of ordering Boeing 757-200s to be used by Hawaiian II on routes from Hawaii to secondary destinations, such as HNL-SNA, HNL-OAK, etc, as well as some routes into the South Pacific.

This 757 represents that announcement, and I guarantee, you will not be disappointed with it!!

WHAT'S NEW???

I've added the Bird of Paradise to the aircraft, it's located just above the HAWAIIAN titles on the plane. This is to commemorate the merger. I've also included a bonus aircraft, Hawaiian 757-200 in "Classic Blue" colors. I recieved an email a while back asking for me to please upload a Hawaiian 757 in the blue colors of my previous versions, so, here it is!!

IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ:

If you downloaded the Hawaiian Airlines 757s in BEFORE March 6th, please remove the old planes and replace it with this plane.

These aircraft have all the problems with the previous versions FIXED. There is now powerful reverse thrust, which you can now also use to push back from the gate! OBS #2 is now functional! Landing lights, strobes, navs, and all other lights have been UPGRADED to FS2002 format, much more realistic! Spoilers are now functional and WILL SLOW YOUR AIRCRAFT. Autodeploy on landing and autobrake are now functional. Flight director now works. Elevators are now more effective than in the previous version, so if you need to pull up quickly, you CAN! (In previous version it took forever for the elevators to have an effect.)

AND, Best of all, the aircraft no longer bobs up and down at cruise altitude, she's steady as a rock and flies straight and level, at any altitude and any weather!!

============================

SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: If you climb or descend too quickly, dont expect the autopilot to level you out perfectly the first time:

Example:

Say you are cruising at FL330, and you set the autopilot to hold FL180, and select the descent rate to an unusually high number (-2500 or above)

When you get to 18,000 feet, you will continue to descend for another 500 feet or so, and will then steadily climb back up to 18,000. THIS IS NOT A BUG!! THIS IS REALISM! Just like in a real aircraft, if you climb or descend too fast, you arent going to come out perfectly at your selected altitude, you'll have to level out, and then slowly climb or descend to reach your preferred altitude.

Anyway, just to let you know so that you dont write and say that this is a problem.

A sincere thanks goes out to all who brought these problems to my attention, I've fixed them all! Like I say, your complaint make better aircraft!
