DESCRIPTION

A Ghost of Flight 19 - II ?

I have been flying this plane for the last couple of weeks. What delight this plane is. The model itself has been made with precision engineering... inside and out... I had initially wanted to repaint the plane but instead decided to reveal what is under the exteior panels.

In my view, this T-6G (LT-6G) Texan ('MOSQUITO' USAF 49-3542) by Cliff Presley is one of the most well made aircraft in Simviation. The small photo in Simviation is deceiving at first because it does not convey, to whoever peruses the pages of Simviation for interesting aircraft, what Cliff Presley's T6G really offers in this package. His T6Gt looks great, but it sounds even better.... it sounds right, as 'right' as aircraft of this period really sounded like. It really is a beauty and for that I take my hat to Cliff Presley. Most important of all it feels right... I am not a pilot but I just 'know' that the characteristics of its flight dynamics are second to none. I set out to repaint the plane but decided instead to give those who have not downloaded and tried this aircraft to do so and then tell me if they disagree with me that this aircraft really is as good as I claim it to be. In the meantime, my "Ghost of Flight 19" serves as a peep into the excellent complete aircraft. Go there and fly it and just LISTEN to how nice that engine sounds.
Any criticisms ? Yes, there is one... The pilot's head turns the wrong way when banking the aircraft... but, with an aircraft as good as this... who cares !!
