FSMeteo(@) Weather Display(@) Toggle Switch v1.0
by Andy Hatcher

This is a simple XML switch to toggle FSMeteo's weather display on and off. This assumes that you have a registered and functional copy of FSMeteo(@) and Weather Display(@) and also that you have some knowledge of editing the panel.cfg file (or by some other means installing this gauge on your panel). If you do not have FSMeteo and Weather Display, go to www.fsmeteo.com, download and register them. They are well worth your money!

INSTALLATION
------------

1) Copy the FSM.cab file to your gauges folder.

2) Open the aircraft of your choice and navigate to the Panel folder.

3) Locate and BACK UP you panel.cfg file.

4) Open panel.cfg with notepad.

5) At the bottom of your list of gauges for the main panel, add this line, substituting the XX with the next available number;

gaugeXX=FSM!FSMtoggle,442,428,20,20

6) You may have to reload the aircraft several times to get the position of the switch to your liking by adjusting the first two numbers following "FSMeteo."

7) If you have installed FSMeteo's weather display, you should have a section in your panel.cfg very similar to this;

[Window0X]
file=fs_meteo.bmp
size_mm=220,248
window_size_ratio=1.00
position=0
visible=0
ident=125 <======< This must be 125 for the switch to work!!!
gauge00=fs_meteo, 0,0,220

If you do not have the above section, STOP!!! Install the weather display according to the instructions that came with FSMeteo, then proceed.

Make sure that the 0X is changed to reflect the next available window, and you're done. Save it and try it out.

CfgEdit will NOT install this gauge, although I am told FS Panel Studio will. I am not sure about FSEdit, as mine has bitten the proverbial dust. One of these days, I will get around to reinstalling it.
