ESMM Malmö-Bulltofta Airport ca 1969 FS2K version 2.0b10 01-05-01
(c)2000 Thomas Nilsson www.bahnhof.se/~toto/bulltoft.htm
-------------------------------------------------------------------
This scenery shows Malmö-Bulltofta Airport (ESMM) in southern
Sweden, ca. 1969. Bulltofta was opened in 1923 and closed in 1972,
when all commercial air traffic was moved to Malmö-Sturup (ESMS).

This scenery is only for FS2000. No other scenery files required.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
CONTENTS:

The scenery is made up of several files:

esmm2b10.bgl Main scenery file
esmm2b10.xcl Exclusion file

esmmndb.bgl Old NDB beacons that were moved or closed

esmmsta1.bgl Static aircraft
esmmsta2.bgl More static aircraft
esmmcars.bgl Cars and trucks on the ramp

The last three can be deleted if you have trouble with low frame
rates, as they are quite heavy on the polygon count.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALLATION:

1: Create a folder called "ESMM" in your main Scenery folder.

2: In the ESMM folder, create two folders called "Scenery" and
"Texture".

3: Put the contents of "scenery.zip" into "\ESMM\Scenery".

4: Put the contents of "tex1.zip" and "tex2.zip" into "\ESMM\Texture".

5: Activate the scenery in the usual way (refer to FS2K manual).
Set the layer to "1" or at least a lower number than any
other scenery in the area (N Europe, Scandinavia).

7: To see all details, static aircraft etc, use "Very Dense".

-------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS:

FS2K version is totally new, files from for FS98 should NOT be used.
If upgrading from previous 2.0 betas, please throw ALL the old files
away, since textures have been upgraded but retain their old names.

VERSION HISTORY
-------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW IN VERSION 2.0b10:

All ground polygons have been redrawn from scratch, most buildings
have been rebuilt, and new day/night textures have been added.
Hangar III is new but still not complete, neither is the old (1943)
passenger terminal (although much improved).
This version is still not fps optimized. The next version will be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW IN VERSION 2.0b6:

Many buildings now have photoreal textures, and most have been
totally remodeled. Night lighting has been added to the passenger
and cargo terminals and the apron texture now more resembles the
battered concrete blocks I remember from my childhood.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW IN VERSION 2.0b1:

This is the first version compatible with FS2000. It is a rough
version, not yet optimized framerate-wise and so on. Please try it
out and let me know what works and what doesnt. Send your comments
to toto@bahnhof.se if you want to help, or just to be nice to me.

CREDITS:

Thanks to all who helped me create this scenery. I grew up close to
this airport during the sixties, so it is really a severe case of
nostalghia that started all this. I was amazed to discover how many
people still cared about this ole airport.

Anyway, kudos to (among others): Bengt Larsson, Bosse Wiberg,
Hans Jakobsson, Johnny Andersson, Staffan Broddéne, Lars-Åke Holst,
and all you people who encouraged and helped me along the way...

SOFTWARE:
Pascal Meziat's Airport 2.60, Manfred Moldenhauer's SCASM 2.5,
Rafael Sanchez' VOD 3.0, BMP2000 by Martin Wright and of course
Trevor de Stigter's M98toBGL for making statics.

Also some macros by Robert Waszkiewicz and others, plus aircraft
created by a lot of people (too many to mention but thanks).
