CFS Macro - Fordson WOT.
CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle.

The Fordson WOT was an 4x4 light truck built by the british Ford Motor Company (Ford & son, by the Henry's Ford son: Edsel Ford) for Commonwealth and Allied forces during the Second World War.

This file include three different macros of the same truck:
A Fordson WOT of Royal Netherland Artillery Brigade, Normandy 1944 (texture fordson0.bmp).
A Fordson WOT of British 7th Royal Armored Division (Desert Rats), North Africa 1942 (texture fordson1.bmp).
A Fordson WOT of Czechoslovak 1st tank battalion, Dunkirk 1945 (texture fordson2.bmp).

(The textures are based on Ford Military Vehicles by L.Geary, Ian Henry Publications Ltd).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fordson was originally a tractor brand and its name was to "identify it as a product of Henry Ford & Son, this was a company wholly owned by members of the Ford family, while the Ford Motor Company was partly owned by a small number of shareholders". Apart from US production there also was production in England.

In the beginning of the war , the British Ministry of Supply specified the design for 15cwt, 1 ton and 3 ton trucks, designated W.O.T. (War Office Truck).

The W.O.T. 2 a 15cwt. vehicle was made on a stripped chassis of a civilian Ford model 61.

I have created a api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2.0.47 (© Matthias Brückner), to generate three static Fordson WOT, used by allied forces on WWII.

This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002.

All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
