Notes:

4 Fictional Seaplane Bases located south of Juneau, Alaska. These AKR Stations were intended to serve as stop-overs, tourism spots for hunting, fishing, skiing, camping, etc. Another intention was for cargo distribution and supplies. They were intended as fun little spots to hit in a bushplane/floatplane.

Facilities info is in addon section, and no direct facilities info, taxi info, and ai traffic in this version. If there is interest in the scenery, then a later release will follow with taxiways, propper facilities entries, and ai tracks. (via AFCAD). This release is intended for ease of installation. :)

There are also NO automatic fuel boxes in this scenery... However, all 4 spots 'do' serve as fuel available stopover for virtual pilots who, like myself, turn the 'engine stops when out of fuel' switch ON for realism, and look at stops for viable refuel locations.

This scenery has been tested on a number of systems, designed on 1.4ghz system, and is suggested to use machine w/ 3d vid and somewhat fast processor. Also, no destinction is made in scenery detail level, most to all objects show on sparse, sorry... no time to take trees and such, and spread across detail levels......

Any questions, problems, and/or suggestions, please email to address below.
Thanks for downloading this scenery, i hope you enjoy it!

AK180 Scenery Instalation Instructions:

1 - Unzip into a temporary directory, Ak180_v10.zip unzips w/ folders intact
2 - place Ak180_AKR folder anywhere u like. (or where you normally put scenery addon folders)
3 - In FS2002, add area in Scenery Library (Alt; then World; then Scenery Library), select Ak180_AKR folder, (NOT Ak180_AKR\Scenery), Name it (if not already AK180_AKR is selected), make sure 'use these files directly' is checked, and click ok.

Thats it!

No need to modify scenery.cfg file!!!

Folders should look like this:
-->AK180_AKR
-->Scenery - (all *.bgl files ONLY)
-->Texture - (all textures files, *.bmp, *.pat)

*.txt - these files can be deleted once scenery is installed and working...
*.pdf - this is a printable map of the surrounding area for
printing and reference. Not all that accurate, but rough enough for
basic navigation.
*.jpg - screenshots for zipdivers (grin), can be deleted after install...

questions:
edgeneer@qwest.net

Important: This scenery is NOT to be used in packaged SOLD (ie, for money) scenery. This is Freeware, and is to be distributed freely intact. NOT with any other bundle without permission. This is to always remain FREE. (besides... who 'would' pay for this???)

NOTAMS: This scenery is in freeware and made by an amature hobbyist... Appologietic, though not responsible if this scenery doesnt work, causes mild to severe psycological discomfort, and/or makes your computer explode... Other such symptoms include, but are not limited to; loss of sleep, seaplane flying euphoria, long late night hours on flight sim, and dry mouth.
