Six Flags Over Texas Arlington, Texas - home to good family fun and great memories for over forty years! Finally got it done, Opa.
This scenery is made to blend with the FS9 default scenery by request of David Marshall. KDFW airport is left default so one may add their own AFCAD.
Instruction:
Simply unzip and put in your addon scenery folder as you normally would for manual install. Start-up FS9 and goto the settings scenery addon page. Then, add scenery name "6-flags-Texas_KDFW" from where you placed its' folder. And, restart FS9 for it to recognize it.
To un-install, repeat, going to scenery addon page and choose delete scenery (6-flags-Texas_KDFW.) Then mouse-over and confirm deletion. FS9 will un-do it next time it is started. Enjoy.
Effects Instruction:
FIREWORKS
6-flags Over Texas fireworks is active during Dusk only. If evenning is to often, It can be setup for holidays only or like Saturdays only at 11:00PM for example. 6flags_fireworks_dusk.BGL is in the scenry folder, already. I intend on changing some of the fires that makes this effect special and one of a kind for this scenery.
1)Copy the eleven (11) FX files to the FS9 main effects folder.
2) Copy the four FX textures into the effects\texture folder in FS9 main folders if you have not these already by default.
FOUNTAIN SPRAY
fountainsqirt.fx needs to be placed into the FS9 main effects folder. The textures used are defaults that came with FS9. I included them in the download anyway.
Instruction:
1)effects-6flags_entrance-fountain contains the fountainsqirt.fx that needs placed into the main FS9 effects folder.
2) Copy the four FX textures into the effects\texture folder in FS9 main folders if you have not these already by default.
