· I just sign up but i can't login! In order to login your browser and personal firewall must allow cookies from surclaro.com and all it's subdomains. If you have Netscape or Internet Explorer version other than 6.0+ Click here to learn how to enable cookies . If you have a personal firewall, please read the companion software help to learn how to allow cookies from surclaro.com and all it's subdomains. If your personal firewall is Norton, please read How to pass cookie information to specific Web pages... from Norton support Our website complies with the latest internet privacy standards. If you have Internet Explorer 6.0+ please enable cookies as follow: From the top menu choose: View --> Privacy Report... --> From the "Websites with content on the current page" list, select any of the "...surclaro.com...." URL's Click on the "Summary" button, wait for our "Privacy policy". Select option "Always allow this site to use cookies". Click "Ok" and then "Close". If everything of the above fails, please delete all cookies on your browser and then try to login again. · I lost my nickname or password, how can i retreive it? For secuity reasons we requiere email confirmation when you request a new password, the steps involved in such task are simple and as follow: First go to "http://www.surclaro.com/user.php#lost" Do you remember your "nickname" or username? If YES enter this on the "Nickname/Email:" field and hit the "Send Password" button. If NOT enter your email on the "Nickname/Email:" field and hit the "Send Password" button. After you hit the "Send Password" button the system will automatically send and email to the email address registered under the entered "nickname" OR to the email address entered on the "Nickname/Email:" field ONLY if this match our user database records. This email with the subject composed of the words "Confirmation code for" + "your registered nickname", will include a URL link to our website. This link has a unique identifier wich will securely complete the password reset process. You only need to click on it or Copy/Paste it on your browser's URL field. By visiting the provided URL the system will sent you a last email containing all the information needed to login onto SurClaro.com that its your "nickname" and new "password" . Back to Top
· When I try to download I am asked for Authentication Required Thats because you are using a "Download Accelerator" kind software, just disable it and try again. We have setup the servers to not accept download accelerator software because they often corrupts ZIP files when dowloading. Back to Top
· Why the shared server is busy sometimes? Being a shared server with bandwidth and processing limitations is necessary to control the simultaneous file access in order to maintain a high service for all the users, thanks for your understanding and your patience. As time passes and with your support we will be able to release more connections in order to improve this free service. Premium upgraded users, who pay by advanced services have a dedicated server that is able to handle hundreds simultaneously connections without diminishing the file access speed and/or the server performance. · I've just registered but had received no email with password yet! Our server automatically send an email with your password. This email is sent to the address you have entered on the registration process, be sure that the entered email addres is correct and that you can read messages on that account. Some common issues about not receiveing the email with your password are: Wrong entered email address. Resolution: Register again using the correct email address. You have setup the email account to stop spammers. Solution: be sure to accept emails from webmaster_at_surclaro.com (Replace the "_at_" by "@") Your email provider is rejecting emails from surclaro.com. Solution: Register again using a different email address. As a general rule, expect to receive your password email within a few hours after registered at our website. Back to Top
· When i click on a download link, the file doesnt save as zip Try to download the file by using the mouse "Right click --> Save Target as..." option, when the save as.. box appear enter the file name as desired on the "File Name" field using "zip" as file extension. Back to Top

· The forum doesnt recognise my password, why? You can't use SurClaro.com main site nickname and password, because forums user database is different than the used here. You will have to register there also. Use this link to register Back to Top

· I have Mozilla Firefox and newsletter pictures doesn't display on my Webmail access Go to Tools > Options and click on Web Features. · The file download starts but never completes If you have a slow internet connection and are using Internet Explorer try using Mozilla Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/all.html. · I have AOL browser and the server is always busy. Our experience is that AOL Browser has problems with our public download server implementation, the solution is to use IE, FireFox or Netscape. Back to Top
