Flight Sim FSX Scenery: LTBH CANAKKALE AIRFIELD UPDATE Update for the LTBH Canakkale airfield, introducing the Canakkale Sehitleri Aniti monument on the Dardanelles strait, improving the terminal building and adding some more detail. You need first the original scenery file ( ......) installed for this update to work. Scenery is made by Instant Scenery, Instant Object Maker, SbuilderX, ADE and Microsoft FSX SP2 SDK. Also the apron lights are from the lights object library by Jim Dhaenens. The Canakkale Sehitleri Aniti monument is represented in its original location on the Dardanelles strait. Also the LTBH terminal building now resembles more to the original. INSTALLATION Exctract the files on to the original LTBH scenery directory (open the zip file select/highlight the SCENERY and TEXTURE directories, press EXTRACT, and select the LTBH .... directory in your harddisc, and press YES when prompted to overwrite files. Flight Sim FSX Scenery: RAF Lasham opened in November 1942 as a Forward fighter airfield. It was situated 6 miles south east of Basingstoke in Hampshire. It was initally home to 38 Wing, Army Co-operation Command and was transferred to Fighter Command, in June 1943. The base became home to 175 Sqn flying Hurricanes and Typhoons, 181, 182 and 183 Sqns flying Typhoons, 412 and 602 Sqns with Spitfires. In August 1943 it was transferred to No 2 Group, Tactical AF, becoming home to 320 Sqn flying Mitchells, 107, 613 and 305 Sqns flying Mosquitoes... Thanks for downloading.
