Flight Sim FSX Aircraft Vintage: FSX Saunders Roe SR-45 Princess The SR-45 first flew in 1952 and was one of the largest flying boats ever built. It was overshadowed by the upcoming land based 707 and DC-8 so only one was finished and test flown. This is a native FSX Acceleration project. It has the usual animations, specular shine, .dds textures, reverse thrust, and turbine smoke that turns on and off as a function of throttle position. The VC is based on a photo and has animated flight and engine controls. There is no 2D panel. There are two liveries, the factory paint and the proposed BOAC livery. By Paul Clawson

Flight Sim FSX Aircraft Vintage: FSX SP2 / FS 2004 Dewoitine D.338, complete package, by Patrice Grange. This is a FSX SP2 version of my Dewoitine D.338, slightly modified from the previous one (FS2004/FSX) to be fully compatible with FSX SP2 Acceleration Pack. The Dewoitine D.338 was the legendary French liner used during the thirties, mainly by Air France on the intercontinental lines. The model in this package represents an aircraft used by Air France in 1938 on Far East lines (from Paris to Singapore, Bangkok, Saigon, ...), with a typical 12 seat lay-out. Full moving parts and animations (control surfaces, gears, door, ...) + a custom panel made from a real picture and a passenger point of view virtual cockpit. Compatible with FS2004, FSX, and now FSX SP2 Acceleration. Designed by Patrice Grange. Contact patrice.grange_at_wanadoo.fr This file is distributed as a Freeware. It must neither be sold nor used in any way to make money or profit.

dc6_v20x.zip
Flight Sim FSX Aircraft Vintage: FSX Douglas DC-6 ver 2.0. This package includes the DC-6 in its earliest form with short nose (no weather radar) and round-tipped Curtiss Electric propellers as delivered to the first DC-6 customers in 1946-48. The later aircraft had the more well-known, square-tipped paddle propellers, and this version is included as well. Most, if not all, of the early DC-6s were later modernized to this standard, and many (especially from the U.S. operators) had weather radar installed in a longer nose. This package contains most variants, including liveries for American, United, Delta, Panagra, SAS, Sabena and KLM, nine aircraft in all. The KLM repaint is by Maarten Brouwer. Flight dynamics based on work by FSAviator. For FSX only; FS2004 users should get DC6_V20.zip instead. By Jens B. Kristensen.
