CFS Macro Austin K3 YF. CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Austin K3 YF was a typical member of the British early-war 6x4 3-ton truck class, fitted with the standard WD rear bogie, built by the Austin-British Leyland Company for Commonwealth and Allied forces during the Second World War. In January 1939, just before the Second World War began, Austin received the state order and was forced to return trucks production. The new range, which was later named the Series I, consisted of two basic models K2 and K3 with a capacity of 2 and 3 tonnes. Then a 1. 5-ton pick-up K30 was added to this range. All of them had a six-cylinder overhead valves gasoline engine (3462 cm3, 60-63 hp), 4-speed transmission, hydraulic brakes and a spring suspension. Externally, that trucks were very similar t

Austin built over 17, 000 K3 series chassis from 1939 until mid-1945, mainly for general service trucks. The early pattern had an open cab with detachable canvas top and 34x7 dual rear tyres. The initially installed open cab with canvas roof and sides was soon replaced by the closed civilian-type one and single 10. 50x16 tyres. Additionally to its crew of 2, the K3 YF could carry up to 24 fully-equipped soldiers. Along with the Bedford OY, the Austin K3 remained in service with the British Army well into the 1950s I have created a api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2. 0. 47 (Matthias Br ckner), to generate two (with and without canvas) static Austin K3 YF, used by allied forces on WWII. Some textures are based on pictures availables on WWII Drawings site, mastered by Vincent Bourgui on, Rochefort (Belgium) and www. o5m6. de, Engines of the Red Army site. This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002. All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
