Flight Sim FS2004 Military add-ons: These are an updated air file and Vandy-One Textures for the McDonnell-Douglas F/A-18E Super Hornet (aka. the Rhino). Vandy-One is a test aircraft tradition. The last production line F-14D Tomcat, was recieved from the Grumman factory in its all black paint scheme, with the Vandy-One playboy bunny on the tails. Prior to that it was an All-black F-4 Phantom. With the reitrement of the Tomcat version Vandy-One, VX-30 painted an F/A-18 Super Hornet in the Vandy-One Colors to carry on the tradition. To install, simply copy the texture.vandy and the updated air file into you F/A-18E aircraft folder and fly away. by Patrick j Hughes. Flight Sim FS2004 Military add-ons: FS2002/FS2004 Junkers Ju EF-132. Luft46 Art Aircraft Series No.14. This is the last aircraft of Junkers in WW II. It was the culmination of the Ju287 design that started in 1942. The shoulder-mounted wings were swept back at a 35 degree angle and featured a small amount of anhedral. Six Jumo 012 jet engines, each of which developed 2500 kp (5500 lbs) of thrust, were buried in the wing roots. At the stage where making of the mockup and the wind tunnel test had been done, the plan was canceled. Flight Sim FS2004 Military add-ons: FS2002/FS2004 McDonnell FH-1 Phantom. This was the first all-jet airplane ordered into production by the Navy. A new form to bury the J30 engine under the root of the both wings that was on earth manufactured with the body was adopted. And, a straight line main wing and the horizontal tail with a strong dihedral angle were combined with a thin body. Though the maximum speed achieved 770 km/h, because rising performance and the practicality, etc. are low, only 60 planes were manufactured and it ended. Flight Sim FS2004 Military add-ons: FS2002/FS2004 AVRO Vulcan B.Mk2 /B.Mk2A The origin of the Avro Vulcan can be traced back to the response of Roy Chadwick, AVROs Chief Designer, to the receipt of Specification B35/46. This was the RAFs requirement for a four jet nuclear bomber and was initiated due to what became known as the Cold War. The Vulcan B.Mk2 entered service with the RAF in the 1960s and had a number of refinements over the B.Mk1, notably Series 201 Olympus engines producing an additional 5,000 lb st, along with an extended tail containing electronic countermeasures. This was the machine which would carry the Blue Steel nuclear missile. During the Cold War years, the Vulcan was allocated the role of a high level, stand-off attack bomber and was painted in pure white to reflect nuclear flash. From the 1960s onward, as Soviet air defences improved, the attack profile was changed to low-level penetration and the more familiar camouflage markings were adopted. 3 models and 4 paint examples are included in this file. Flight Sim FS2004 Military add-ons: This is the Super Hornet that has flown to the Atsugi Airbase and it is my first F/A-18 E aircraft design. The distinguished appearance from the original Super Hornet and the E type is the air intake duct, which is square shaped. The door and the air intake have a jagged edge to enhance the STEALTH effect. Sound provided by B. Magann.
