 FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002 FJ-3 FURY In 1944, North American Aviation submitted a design for a swept-wing day fighter which could also be used as a dive-bomber or escort fighter. Two prototype XP-86s were contracted in late 1944, but were not built until after WWII due to the incorporation of several design modifications which were prompted by German research data. The first XP-86 prototype flew on 1 October 1947, powered by a 3,750-pound thrust G.E. J35 engine. After it was re-engined with a more powerful G.E. J47 turbojet the following spring, it was redesignated the YP-86A, and exceeded the speed of sound in a shallow dive. The first production model was initially designated the P-86A, but became the F-86A in June 1948. By the time the new fighter entered US Air Force service in 1949, it had gained the name Sabre.  FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002 AMI Aeritalia F-104S Starfighter (9-41) The F-104S is a develop of the original F-104G whit a more powerfull engine, stronger body structure, improvements to avionics and ordinance capabilities and two new lateral tail fins for better stability at high speeds. The F-104S was choosed by the Italian Air Force in 1966 to replace its fleet of F-104G. Almost all the 206 F-104S were directly produced in Italy by Aeritalia which produced also 40 aircrafts for the Turkish Air Force. This aircraft is from the 9th Wing Francesco Baracca of the 10th Group of the Italian Air Force (AMI) which received its first F-104S in early 1972. This F-104S has the Europe Camo color scheme as it appeared in 1970s and 1980s. Its primary role was interception and air superiority. Aircraft by Michael Davies and Steve Bezant (Alpha Simulations).  FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002 General Dynamics F-16XL Super Falcon General Dynamics F-16XL, an arrow-shaped wing, advanced performance experiment from F-16 Fighting Falcon. As the first experimental prototype of F-16E, F-16XL made its initial flight in July 1982, but with all its nice-looking delta wing configuration, F-16XL failed to be officially adopted after all.
