FSX Viking DHC6-400 Twin Otter. The worldwide demand for refurbished Twin Otters is such that Viking Air have commenced manufacture of new aircraft in their plant in Calgary, Canada, using original de Havilland jigs and tools. The new manufacture -400 model is externally identical to the -300 but has a Honeywell glass cockpit avionics suite. We could not source freeware Honeywell gauges so we have used Garmin avionics in this model. The launch customer is Zimex Aviation of Switzerland and first delivery is expected in September 2009. Giovanni Casiraghi, the Piaggio P-108B was an Italian four-engined heavy bomber used by the Regia Aeronautica during World War II. A prototype of this aircraft first flew in 1939 and it entered service in 1942. This model reproduces the aircraft on which Capt. Bruno Mussolini lost his life during a test flight on August 1941 in Pisa airport. Thank you for downloading this package, we hope youll enjoy it. IMPORTANT! You MUST also insert the enclosed GougeSound.dll in the Main FS2004 folder, otherwise you will experience an FS crash!! FREEWARE! Two liveries are provided, one Camo and one Dark Green paint.
