Impressively, the Siskin series soldiered on throughout the 1930s, being retired from RAF use in 1932 and staying in service with Canadian forces as late as 1939. Siskins later would begin developing a tradition for acrobatic flying capabilities leading up to some famous traveling circuses. Complete model by A.F.Scrub. The Seafire Mk.17 was powered by a 1850hp Rolls Royce Griffon VI engine giving it a maximum speed of 383 mph at 13,500 ft. It was armed with two Hispano 20mm cannons, four 0.303 in Browning MGs and up to eight rockets or 500 lb of bombs mounted beneath the fuselage and wings. This late production Seafire variant had a distinctive look, and impressive performance. This model was flown on board the HMS Illustrious during September 1949. The Dassault Mirage G8 was a twin engine fighter with variable sweep wings (swing wings), a very singular design for a Dassault aircraft. The Mirage G8 flew for the first time on May 8th, 1971, and demonstrated immediately an impressive level of performance, reaching Mach 2.04 during its 3rd flight ... The G8 was one of the guest stars during Paris Air Show in 1971. Unfortunately, only two prototypes were built - both included in this package - before the decision was taken to stop the program ...
