 This is the FS2004 F-136B Orbital Defense Interceptor concept jet fighter, capable of Hyper Mach speeds and space flight capabilities, circa 2014. This concept is based on hybrid engines that convert to rocket propulsion via a closing iris system that creates a rocket engine bell. This model features functioning spoilerons, vectored thrust elevator structures, opening hatch, opening ordinance bombays, retracting slow flight wings, custom panel, VC illuminated instrumentation, appearing wheel chalks and ladder, extending Hyper Mach propulsion fuel nozzles, Viewpoint Smart Mirroring Invisibility camouflage system, Mach 4.57 speeds, a second optional airfile that is less powerful, and comprehensive manual for flight instruction of this elaborate concept bird.   FS2004 Saucer from the TV Series, The Invaders. This is a fully functioning sim model with a highly detailed interior designed for Active Camera. The package features various opening doors, incredible instrumentation textures with illumination, retracting landing pylons, glowing magneto lift engines, reflective textures, closing perspex blast shields, custom panel, elaborate VC, and speeds up to Mach 3 with VTOL capabilities for some cool 5 point landings. Features a wild flat turn performance said to be able to be done by actual UFOs. Includes a .wav file from the series sound track. Textures by Greg Logan. Sound pack by Ronnie Pendergraft. FS 2004 Aircraft HE T03 Intercontinental Edition Theres only one word to describe fictional aircraft maker HEs T03IE: huge. Its probably the biggest concept jet ever to have flown the virtual skies. At 500 feet in length, the T03IE is 150 feet longer than the standard T03, its 130 feet tall when sitting on the ground, and has a wingspan of 374 feet. Its so big that standard aircraft control surfaces arent enough to move the plane, and so four of its eight engines also rotate. Model created with FSDS2, the aircraft is fully animated and has a virtual cockpit. By Andy Johnston.

 FS2004 Kuat Systems ETA-2 Actis Jedi Interceptor The Eta-2s were used by Jedi pilots during the last days of the Clone Wars. Not much larger than the average airspeeder, the Eta-2 was a fast and sporty space fighter. During combat, heat-sink wings can be extended to dissipate excess engine heat. This FS9 release includes both Obi-Wan Kenobis and Anakin Skywalkers Interceptors. Each has full anis, VC with custom gauges, and appropiate paint scheme, pilots, and astromech droids.

One Day like Today... 1942 US attack on Nazi Europe - July 4, 1942 - Flown by B-17s of the 97th Bombardment Group against the Rouen-Sotteville railyards in France. The first USAAF air raid on Germany was made by 8th AF B-17s against Wilhelmshaven and other targets in northeastern Germany on 1/27/43.
1930 Endurance record - June 11-July 4, 1930 - 553h:41m:30s at Chicago by John and Kenneth Hunter in Stinson SM-1B City of Chicago [NC5189], covering about 40,000 miles in so doing. Refueling plane was flown by their brothers, Albert and Walter. Their feat was short-lived as the title was regained by Jackson and OBrine the following month.
