royal_navy_gosling.zip  Description: FS2004 Grumman Gosling Royal Navy Repaint. Textures only. You need Joe Binkas Grumman Widgeon. The Grumman J4F-1 Widgeon, was the little sister of the Grumman Goose, built in 1940. It was used as a small patrol and utility aircraft by the US Navy and the Royal Navy. (The Royal Navy gave it the name Gosling) This repaint represents Royal Navy Gosling FP462. (You might recognize it as the 1/72 scale Airfix kit you once built long time ago.....)   Ala Littoria, C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A / C Developed from a design of Ing. Zappata, the first prototype of this entirely wooden construction seaplane, flown by test pilot Stoppani, did its maiden flight, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, in August 1936 and gained immediately eight world records in speed and two in altitude in the seaplane category. Successive versions, powered by three Alfa Romeo 126 RC10 (later RC34), gained another 16 world records. These airplanes (A or C) were intended for commercial transport of 12/14 passengers, 25 of them were employed by Ala Littoria Company on Mediterranean routes, the Royal Italian Air Force bought another 13 similar aircraft. During WWII all the civilian aircraft, aquired by Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force), were used in communication and SAR roles. Complete aircraft. 3 Different Hi-Res GMax models (3 different versions), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and navlights; Six different liveries (for A and C versions); 2D panel only (NO VC). FS2004 Dornier DO-18 Zyklon The DO-18 was distinguised by the placement of push - pull engines over the wing out of the spray. This is a model of the Zyklon which was used by Lufthansa for the South American mail run in 1938.  FS2004 Vultee BT-13 Valiant The BT-13, commonly known as the Vibrator was the USAAC basic trainer during WW2. Over 13,000 were produced. This FSDSv3 project has the usual animations, crew figures, transparent glass, Landing and Nav lights. It features both a reflective silver and the blue yellow liveries of that period.
