an2_ant1.zip Description: FS2004 Antonov AN-2T First appearing in 1947, the AN-2s was first dismissed as obsolete, due to its biplane layout and homely looks. But the Annushka would prove the naysayers wrong.... and how! The biplane layout proved itself, and there wasnt much the AN-2 couldnt do, whether as a passenger, cargo, parachuting, crop spraying, or spec ops plane. Over 20,000 were produced, mostly in Poland. Not bad for an obsolete design. This AN-2T textured to represent an aircraft belonging to the Greek TV Channel ANT-1 during the Archangel 2005 Air Show at Tanagra (Athens). Repaint textures only ; requires the model by Tim Conrad (an2tppp.zip). Repaint by Manuele Villa. File name: an2_ant1.ZIP 506_t01.zip Description: Ala Littoria, C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506T (V.01) A C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A (I-POLA, from the first construction batch of this entirely wooden construction seaplane), was converted into a landplane by mounting a fixed landing gear, in order to try breaking a distance record taking off from Cagliari-Elmas airport. The attempt was first delayed due to bad weather conditions, and later even cancelled. So it was eventually converted back to its original seaplane configuration. This plane, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, made its first flight in August 1936 and was transferred to Cagliari-Elmas airport during September 1936. Original aircraft, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and navlights. Requires the previous installation of the C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A/C (V.01) package (506_ac01.zip) and the 2D panel enhancement (506c_pnl.ZIP). Created by Manuele Villa , December 2007. Installation instructions included. 506_ac01.zip Description: Ala Littoria, C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A / C Developed from a design of Ing. Zappata, the first prototype of this entirely wooden construction seaplane, flown by test pilot Stoppani, did its maiden flight, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, in August 1936 and gained immediately eight world records in speed and two in altitude in the seaplane category. Successive versions, powered by three Alfa Romeo 126 RC10 (later RC34), gained another 16 world records. These airplanes (A or C) were intended for commercial transport of 12/14 passengers, 25 of them were employed by Ala Littoria Company on Mediterranean routes, the Royal Italian Air Force bought another 13 similar aircraft. During WWII all the civilian aircraft, aquired by Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force), were used in communication and SAR roles. Complete aircraft. 3 Different Hi-Res GMax models (3 different versions), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, props pitch and navlights; Six different liveries (for A and C versions); 2D panel only (NO VC). Created by Manuele Villa , July 2007. Installation instructions included.
