This is a repaint of the default CFS FW190a aircraft painted in Arctic Camouflage textures based on the original picture by Rick Kent (see file fw190_picture.jpg). Aircraft belonged to Stab, III Gruppe, Jagdgeschwader 2. This file contains an extra skin with Swastika as shown in the original picture. This aircraft is from CFS and tested in FS2000/FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002. Uses Fw 190a Panel. It will fly equally well in CFS and FS2000/FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002. All flight surfaces are moveable, retractable landing gear. Repaint by Bob Bongiovanni.

Back In The 1980s The Tornado Was In The Running For The Usafs Follow On Wild Weasel Platform To Replace The F4g Phantom. In The End The Usaf Modified A Number Of F16c/d Vipers To Do The Job But As It Happens The Air Force Was Indeed Interested In The Programme, Unfortunately The Politicians Were Not. This Repaint Is Based On The German Modification Known Ase The Ecr (electronic Combat Recce) And Is Armed With Harm Missiles. Unfortunately You Will Have To Use The Drogue Receptacle For Air To Air Refueling As The Probe Receptacle On The Spine Of This Jet Is Purely For Show. by Phil Foster.

The Aircraft color scheme was taken from British camouflage colors of WWII P-47 assigned to the No. 30 Squadron RAF at Cosford, UK 1944-46. Serial No.: KL216/13024. The British equivalent of the P47d was called P47d Thunderbolt MK I. Aircraft made to look old and beat from combat. This aircraft is from CFS and tested in FS2000/FS2002 - Flight Simulator 2002.
