The default coastline is very low resolution, and is missing many details and small islands. Additionally, the default scenery has no data for the area between Shelter Island and Montauk Point, resulting in a blocky jagged coastline in that area. This scenery also adds all the streams, canals, rivers, ponds, and lakes on Long Island. If its wet, its in this scenery. The major changes include a new FS2004 exclude, flatten and ground texture (instead of the original green polygon airport skirt, now it fits nicely in FS2004), and elimination of the static and dynamic aircraft, which does not make sense in FS2004. Also some corrections to the gates and navaids, and other minor adjustments to the scenery (like the fuel tanks, tire runway marks, overruns, etc.), have been made. We have added the visual scenery of the locans, too. The airport in this scenery is slightly displaced compared to the default FS2004. We have adjusted the AFCAD accordingly and the default navaids in AP932440. An AFCAD2 file is included to make AI working in FS2004. Be aware that the size of runways and taxiways in this afcad are reduced and lightless on purpose, so they do not show and conflict with the scenery. We chose to keep the original apron, taxiways, lights and runways, because they were very nice in the scenery. To install, simply place the scenery in the addon scenery folder, and activate. To adjust the default navaids of FS2004 to this scenery, replace the original AP932440.bgl file (located in scenerysamescenery) by the enclosed one. Make a backup of the original file. Enjoy!! It went through a face lift when on November the 2nd, 2004 its new and modern Terminal 3 was opened to the public. LLBG scenery was made with three design tools; AFCAD, Gmax and Rwy12 Object Placer (you dont have to install Rwy12, because all relevant files are included in the download). Library objects were used wherever possible, while some structures were specially made with Gmax. The scenery was made in cooperation with Vatil, Israels division of Vatsim, and can be used for online controlled flying.
