Cranwell College - EGYD United Kingdom In 1915 the Royal Naval Air Service sought to establish a single unit at which officers and ratings could be trained to fly aeroplanes, observer kite balloons and airships. Tradition has it that a young Naval pilot was briefed to fly around until he found a piece of land that was both large enough and flat enough for the purpose. It is said that he flew over Cranwell and thought it quite admirable. Of the Mike Stones Hanger members, JasBo provided the research material. B1lancer provided the beta testing and follow-up research. I consider these to fellows as co-authors. Other contributing members include mulletman, The Flying Banana Jr, Dana and NWADC9. KSLC Scenery. Did you ever think it odd that Taxiway Kilo doesnt go to runway 35? or that GA parking is not added? Did everyone really get suckered into thinking thats how it is at KSLC? Well, its not. Frankly it pissed me off to have to taxi accross 35 via Taxi P then over 32 and taxi N and taxi K and THEN to 35 all because FS2004 put a bluiding right in the middle of Taxi K. (FYI, there is no building right there) What a joke! Hence this addon was born. I used satellite and FAA A/FD manual to create file along with personal expierence, Enjoy. Includes GA ramp for Million Air(tm)/JetCenter(tm) and Kibbie GA terminal, ANG ramp, GA parking rows 1-3 for spot 33 (not Echo-Echo), more accurate apron including lights and helipads, Taxi K/Taxi A redone, (Air Frieght) North and (UPS/FedEx) South Cargo, and much more. I Guess acually flying out of the airport counts for something. Includes SLC2004 by Gary Widup which adds Terminals A-E, the Delta Hub hangar, the Fire Station and Terminal signs. No need to turn collisions off, thanks to Gary. afcad modified by A. Cook. For FS2004, untested in FS2002.
