The Alaskan Pipeline - Your opportunity to explore one of the largest and most difficult construction projects of our time and see some spectacular scenery while doing it. This is a representation of the Valdez, Alaska Terminal and several Pump Stations along the 800 mile Alaskan Pipeline which extends from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. The project was originally designed for ZIA Cargo/Sunspot Charter VA pilots, but is now being made available to the flightsim community. Scenery and design by John J. Hi All, An impassioned plea in the forums inspired me to model a better than default scenery of Chicago Midway Airport. There appears to be a lot of interest in this airport. ATA and Southwest use it as a hub. I have modeled terminals a,b and c, the parking lot, and the tincan hangers to the north. I had to relocate the beacon... but its there. Jetways are set for DENSE scenery. As I have stated in the past, textures are not my forte. I hope these are satisfactory. Let me know if something is way out of place. FS2004 Scenery-T.F.Green State Airport(KPVD): July, 1931, Hillsgrove State Airport, located on Airport Road, then called Occupasstuxet Road, opened becoming the first state-owned and operated airport in the United States. The Airport originally was 158 acres of cleared brush and turf runways. The Airport was dedicated on September 27, 1931, two air shows at the newly dedicated facility drew a crowd of over 150,000. This was the largest crowd that had attended a public function in the country. On December 27, 1938, Governor Robert E. Quinn, by executive order renamed Hillsgrove State Airport to Theodore Francis Green State Airport, who was Rhode Islands Governor from 1933-1937 and an avid supporter of aviation. This scenery was created using FSDS2, LagoFSE and Rwy12. All of the Nova textures are required as is Traffic Tools and AFCAD2. By John B. Loney, Jr.
