YEWA - Emerald Lake YEWA (Emerald Lake) is the international headquarters and home base for EastWest Airlines VA and is situated 18 kilometres from Emerald. Emerald Lake is nestled on the foreshores of Lake Maraboon, Queenslands second largest lake. It is 265 km west of Rockhampton and 900km from Brisbane. The lake is a massive 15000 hectares surface area. Emerald Lake consists of two ILS runways 13000’ & 6000’ a space-age international and domestic terminal cluster using 8 Skyways, super sized hangars to accommodate future super jets, a flying club, cargo division, RFDS Base and a fully manned tower, a water runway and amphibian base. There is a resort, a marina, residential area (under construction) on the shores of the lake adjacent to the airport and connected by a road network. The attached file has the entire airport infrastructure as well as the basic requirements for the residential area. You will require RWY12 Static Object Library installed in FS9 for some of the structures. This is my first scenery attempt and comments are welcome. The scenery is best displayed using the VOZ (Vista Australis) scenery. KSLC v1.1 KSLC being my local international airport, I made this the only AFCAD2 with correct parking and traffic for Gary Widups amazing KSLC Airport Upgrade. There are a few other AFCAD2s designed for his airport, but they were all incorrect. Garys was most correct but a bit outdated. KSLC is quickly changing as it is under construction daily. Ive spent a lot of time studying, and examining the terminals and airlines of this airport. As well as the traffic patterns of taxiways and runways. Parking is set to AI specifications. Ive included airline and terminal information and pictures inside this zip.
