A small GA airfield just Southwest of Mt. St.Helens in beautiful Washington State. Enhanced with RWY12 objects. This scenery is designed to compliment Steven Rosenows exceptional Hoffstadt Bluffs Mt. St. Helens Flight Experience scenery - mshscenery_fix.zip. Rwy12 Object Placer program is NOT required. Setup instructions are included for those who do have the program and for those who do not. A FSE file is included for those who have the LAGO program but this is optional. If you love wonderful scenery then take a flight from this airport up and around Mt. St. Helens. Famous aircraft such as the VC10, Viscount and the BAC 1-11 were test flown from here. The airfield closed in 1973 although the apron taxiways and runway still exist, as does the Ockham beacon. Its a local vfr landmark for ultra lights out of Leon and transits across the Allegheny Mountains. It identifies which river one is flying as the Ohio River and the Kanwaha rivers parallel and can turn-ya-round (VFR,) so to speak. This is one of several vfr addons using dynamic mist off the rollers and from FS2002 West Virginia Series redone for FS9 on the Mid Ohio Valley. This scenery is made to blend with autogen scenery (default) in FS9 and does well on my machine. Simply unzip and put in your addon scenery folder as you normally would for manual install. Start-up FS9 and goto the settings scenery addon page. Then, add scenery name Winfield from where you placed its folder. And, restart FS9 for it to recognize it. To un-install, repeat, going to scenery addon page and choose delete scenery (Winfield.) Then mouse-over and confirm deletion. FS9 will un-do it next time it is started. Enjoy.
