The piers and works between Selsey Bill and Beachy Head; at Bognor, Littlehampton, Worthing, Shoreham, Brighton West, and Brighton; mark the route of the low-level air-speed world record flight by Neville Duke in a Hawker Hunter in 1953 at an average speed of 747 mph. This scenery was made for the FS Kiosk at theTangmere Museum, Sussex, England, to enable visitors to emulate Neville Dukes record flight in the Hunter, and is released to the FS community for that purpose. and any other, such as racing. Due to the structure of the SMB you are surrounded by this clues and you can sink below or rise above them. Trained pilots will prefer a no cockpit view while landing. This conforms to the reality, as no pilot spends a lot of time watching gauges during the last seconds prior to touchdown. A hopping-tour, including all 3 landable platforms, is great fun and, if achieved, great satisfaction.

Scenery of Carrasco Intl Airport (SUMU) -March 2006 version 3, FS9 Juan Pablo Simonet Since last September I have been working in this project using the version 2 as my start point, with the final objective of creating a realistic scenery, adding a passenger terminal area, hangars, actual runways and numerous structures in the area. Although the buildings are not photo-realistic, the textures used are very similar to the real ones. All these add-ons have the same coordinates and the airport positioning is almost like in aerial and satellite pictures. This scenery includes: -Passenger Terminal -Jetway (or Airbridge) (Parking Stand 4) -General Aviation and Cargo Hangar -Runways and taxiways with actual sizes -International Airport apron, with real GPS parking stand positions -Military apron and Hangars -Number 1 Military Base -Periphery roads -Airport main car entrance, parking and surrounding trees. -Primary and secondary RADAR -Montevideo Control Centre and Carrasco Tower buildings -Weather Station buildings -Illuminated aprons

The MS scenery for the Suez channel region in Egypt has much improved in FS2004, but nevertheless there are several flaws which I have tried to correct in this scenery: - the harbours on both ends of the channel (Port Said and Port Tawfiq/Suez), which were only roughly indicated, are represented with more detail, some shorelines at Port Said have been corrected (the available satellite photographs show that MS has used outdated maps) - the bridges blocking the passage through the eastern channel at Port Said and in the southern part of the main channel have been removed as well as a ship which MS put at 90° to the waterway! - there are (to my knowledge) only two bridges across the channel (at Qantara and Feridan), both were missing and have been added (the turning bridge at Feridan in the open state) - since there was almost no traffic in the channel, a number of ships of various types have been added. I tried to make the ships similar to real world ships you might see in the Suez channel without going into too much detail. by winfriedorthmann_at_yahoo.com

red as a scaled-up version of the Su-9/Su-11 family but powered by two engines and utilizing twin side inlets. These design changes freed up space in the new solid nose for a large radar, and powerful engines were installed to insure the Su-15 would fly considerably faster than any known Western aircraft of the time. The first production Flagon-A models featured a mid-mounted cropped delta wing, swept tail surfaces, and a large bubble canopy placed aft well of the conical nose. Later models introduced a kinked-delta wing planform of greater span and a more aerodynamic ogival nose. In addition, the electronics, engines, and armaments were continually upgraded so that the Su-15 remained a formidable high-speed interceptor through the 1980s. Some later models have been reported as the Su-21, but this designation was never applied to any members of the Su-15 family. The Su-15 guarded Soviet airspace throughout much of the Cold War, though it was never exported to Soviet allies. By 1976, 29 PVO interceptor regiments were equipped with the Flagon, 18 Units flying the delta winged Su-15 (sans suffixe), and a further 11 units flew the SU-15TM Flagon-F. Surely the most notable, albeit infamous, event the aircraft was involved in occurred in 1983 when an Su-15TM Flagon-F shot down a Korean Air Lines Boeing 747 mistaking it for a reconnaissance Boeing RC-135 aircraft. About 700 Su-15s still remained in service by the mid-1980s, but these were gradually retired and replaced by the MiG-31 Foxhound and Su-27 Flanker by about 1993. Aircraft model by Brett Hoskins.
