su15f.zip Description: The Su-15TM (NATO code name: Flagon-F) Originally designed as an evolutionary development of the SU-9/Su-11 family with a more capable radar and twin engines, the Su-15 grew into a much larger and heavier aircraft. The Su-15TM was developed to superceded initial versions on the production line, with increased combat capability and featuring the Taifoon-M (RP-26) radar, ogival nose cone, and R-60 dogfight missiles. The upgraded SU-15TM permitted interceptions of targets flying at speeds of over 2500 klmh, and at altitudes over 75,000 feet. Deliveries of production SU-15TMs to PVO fighter units commenced from 1972. Gradually, togeather with the MIG-25P heavy interceptor, the Su-15 replaced the Su-9, Su-11, Yak-28P and Mig21PFM in the IA-PVO frontline inventory. Su-15s saw service with PVO units stationed in almost all borderside regions of the USSR, the high north and far east receiving priority, and remained one of the principle fighter types defending soviet airspace for many years. Electronics, engines, and armaments were continually upgraded so that the Su-15 remained a formidable high-speed interceptor, guarding Soviet airspace during the cold war in the 1970s and 80s. During the course of its frontline career, the Su-15 participated in many sucessful interceptions resulting from border incursions, and occaisionally, used its weapons systems in anger. About 700 su-15s remained in service by the mid-1980s, but these were gradually retired and replaced by the MiG-31 and Su-27 by about 1993. Aircraft model by Brett Hoskins. ALPHA Simulations 2005 Lockheeds massive C-5 Galaxy had its origins with the CX-HLS project of 1963, which specified a heavy transport which could carry 250,000 lbs over 3,000 miles without inflight refueling. The first C-5A flew on June 30, 1968, with the last example delivered in May, 1973. The C-5 has roll-on, roll-off capabilities, with huge clamshell doors in the rear, and a nose (visor) that lifts above the cockpit. The A versions suffered from wing cracks and many were re-winged. The C-5B incorporated the new wing design, and fifty were built with the last example being delivered in April, 1989. The massive Galaxy can carry two Abrams tanks or a single CH-47 Chinook helicopter within its hold. With fatigue concerns no longer a problem, the remaining C-5B aircraft are expected to serve until at least 2010. eurafs001.zip Description: Eurofighter for FS2004: Germany Bundeswehr (30+11,30+16,30+14,30+20), formation fly, Eurofighter is a single-seat, twin-engine, agile combat aircraft which will be used in the air-to-air, air-to-ground and tactical reconnaissance roles. The use of Stealth technology is incorporated throughout the aircrafts basic design. This model has a new panel with new gauges ,a new high textures virtual cockpit of authentic Eurofighter - EADS support and new original sound. HISTORY Remembering the good old days of our youth with my collegue Capt. Giovanni Quai, we decided to have a go with this aircraft, for which he still has a lot of photographic material and the official operating manual. Thank you for downloading this package, I hope youll enjoy it. IMPORTANT! You MUST also insert the enclosed GougeSound.dll in the Main FS2004 folder, othrwise you will experience a FS crash!! FREEWARE! FOREWORD The model reproduces the aircraft flown by Capt. Giovanni Quai in the early sixties: it features highly reflective metallic skin and the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on. The panel background has been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found in the official operating manual and some photos shot by the authors. The most part of the gauges have been created by the authors. Included in this model there is also a very simple Virtual Cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls. Capt. I.
