FS 2004 North American Aviation F-107A The F-107A was an unusual plane with its overhead intake duct. It was an excellent performer, easily exceeding Mach 2, but lost out to the F-105 Thud. This FSDSv2 model has complete moving parts, alpha channel reflective surfaces, pilot figure, afterburner and leading edge vapor effects. The 2D panel is based on a photo and it has a VC. FS2002/FS2004 Messerschmitt Me Wespe. Luft46 Art Aircraft Series No.3. This late-war Messerschmitt project Wespe (Wasp) is mostly unknown, and information on it is incomplete. Two seperate fuselages were designed for the Wespe. This models cockpit was loctaed far forward on the fuselage, with the single He S 011 turbojet was mounted mid fuselage. It was fed by an air duct which wrapped under the forward fuselage, and exhausted below a tail boom with a V- Tail unit. No armament was specified, but at this stage in the war two MK 108 30mm cannon would probably have been fitted. Original Paint Art by Gino Marcomini. by Kazunori Ito.

FS2002/FS2004 Junkers Ju EF-112 Luft46 Art Aircraft Series No.2. This design for a ground-attack aircraft was submitted to the RLM by Junkers in December 1942. The wings had a straight leading edge and the short fuselage was mounted high on top of the wing. One engine was mounted in the nose pulling and one was mounted in the fuselage tail pushing, this had the advantage of providing the power of two engines but lowering drag by putting the engines in-line. One Day like Today... 1942 US attack on Nazi Europe - July 4, 1942 - Flown by B-17s of the 97th Bombardment Group against the Rouen-Sotteville railyards in France. The first USAAF air raid on Germany was made by 8th AF B-17s against Wilhelmshaven and other targets in northeastern Germany on 1/27/43.
1930 Endurance record - June 11-July 4, 1930 - 553h:41m:30s at Chicago by John and Kenneth Hunter in Stinson SM-1B City of Chicago [NC5189], covering about 40,000 miles in so doing. Refueling plane was flown by their brothers, Albert and Walter. Their feat was short-lived as the title was regained by Jackson and OBrine the following month.
