Description:
FS2002/FS9 Unreal Aviation Crow tailless homebuilt. The crescent wing is one of the oldest planform configurations that offers great stability and efficiency and is currently being looked at by Dewald. Crow is a fictitious representation of the sort of flivver that homebuilders in the fifties thought everyone would be flying because it would be so easy and safe. She certainly is safe with her benign stall and forgiving handling. The performance is relatively sprightly too (for 80 HP) with a 120 KIAS cruise. There is also a huge margin between cruise and VNE. Description:
FS2002/FS9 Unreal Aviation Enterprise IV Airship. 700 ft long Nuclear-Powered semi-rigid airship with a pressurised double-walled inflatable skin. Smallest (!) in a new range of super airships, the Enterprise IV can remain aloft for months at altitudes above the weather and can belt along at over 120 KIAS, which, for an airship is really moving. :-) With four vectoring props and X configuration control surfaces she has an agility that belies her huge dimensions and yet, despite her great bulk she can be manoeuvred precisely and needs only a skeleton ground crew. With a full-featured autopilot, she can be flown by silver-tube drivers with ease and can even fly down an ILS. Although designed specifically for FS2002 this aircraft will work in FS9 using the alternative AIR file provided. By Kevin Bryan.

Description:
FS2002/FS9 Unreal Aviation Talent AS-4 Sentinel. Ex-US Navy radar blimp converted for civilian use (extra seats, big windows). Here she is configured for 20 passengers and 4 crew. For weight and balance purposes, she retains her radars, one below the control car and one inside the envelope. Although fully functional, they are obsolete, as things have moved on a bit since 1960 when she was de-commissioned. Model comes with mooring mast that appears when the engines are shut off. Description:
FS2002 Unreal Aviation BAMAC Developments Pou. Vintage styled modern homebuilt Microlight inspired by the Mignet Flying Flea. Not tested in FS9 but it should work perfectly. The aircraft is a blast to fly being very manoeuvrable, capable of cruising at 100 Mph, stall resistant and able to slow to below 30 Mph! Controls are two axis, rudder and pitch. Pitch is by tilting the forward wing, lateral movement of the joystick controls rudder just like the real thing. By Kevin Bryan.

  ua_alien.zip  Popular
Description:
FS2002/FS9 Unreal Aviation Alien ball-shaped Airship with a ribbed, back-spinning envelope to improve lift and reduce drag. The ball shape makes it very easy for a ground crew of just one to dock the ship with its mooring pad, a heavy truck and the machine is no more difficult to handle than a tethered balloon. Controlled entirely by its vectored ducted fans, there are no aerodynamic control surfaces at all and a computer takes care of stability. In light airs, it is possible to position the aircraft with great accuracy making it perfect for holding station over a fixed point or flying tight patterns in a confined area. Another advantage of the ball shape is strength. She is not as pressure limited as conventional airships and can fly at greater altitudes than most. The ribs also add strength and help to trap a layer of air close to the surface of the envelope and serve the same purpose as dimples on a golf ball. Two diesel-electric generators provide the energy to spin the ball and power the electric ducted fans. The downside to the ball shape is the cruise performance is still not as good as a conventionally shaped machine despite the backspin. It would also be complicated and expensive to build.... However, for rescue, surveying and filming it is perfect. Designed specifically for FS2002 but works in FS9 using the alternative AIR file provided. By Kevin Bryan.
