mi24a.zip Description:
FS2004 Mil MI-24A Hind A First production version of the famous Soviet Helicopter Gunship. This version is readily indentified by the boxy greenhouse canopy. This canopy and crew arrangement was not totally succesful, due to blind spots, internal reflections, and a weak gun armament. This paved the way to the well known MI-24D/V versions with the separate gunship cockpits in a redesigned nose, and more powerful armament. This model has a VC and three paint schemes. Must have my MI-24V Hind E (MI-24V.zip) installed to get the gauges.

v22_ospu.zip Description:
This is an update for the V22-Osprey originally by Vlad Zhyhulskiy and modified for FS2004 by Yahia al-Wajid. I have put in all the wheels, corrected the eye point, changed the two forward float points, corrected a scrape point and added one, updated the flight dynamics, added a digital trim gauge, and deleted the two extra air files. Unzip to a folder of your choice. After backing up your air, aircraft.cfg, and panel.cfg files, replace them with the ones in this update. The aircaft takes off with full flaps and full trim, at about 18 knots and will maintain altitude with 60% or more throttle depending on how many notches of flaps you have down. You need to pull back on the stick to keep it level with full flaps and full throttle. Because the engines are above the datum point, they add a pitch down, the more throttle the more pitch down. This is true at all notches of flaps from 0 to 90 degrees. The picture of it on a heli-pad shows how short it can land. The skid mark behind the aircraft is its touchdown point. You can land short like that with the parking brake, or the toe brakes, on. Two things to note: One the wrong movement of the elevator, up for down and down for up, I cannot do anything about that. While it is not too hard to transition from near hover to level flight and back, you will find it hard to slow down low enough so that once you have full flaps in you are not over 1,000 feet. Part of the problem is that the spoilers and flaps are one and the same. If there was a separate spoiler, you would be able to slow down with it and put in the flaps when you were going slow enough, so there would be less of a jump in height.
