News: Carenado PA34 200T SENECA II for FSX Released
|

on July 2nd, 2009 Carenado has released its first twin engine aircraft ever; the classic PA-34 200T SENECA II for FSX.
This aircraft is full FSX and DX10 compatible with high resolution textures (and very friendly FPS).
It was developed with all FSX features plus two new features: volumetric normal mapping and Original HQ digital stereo sounds (44100 HZ) recorded from the original aircraft.
The Seneca is made since 1970 and some 4500 were made since then.
It has six seats in a pretty large cabin, two turbocharged counterrotating engines producing 200hp.
Certification for flights into known icing conditions and the nice single engine behavior made the Seneca a popular multi engine trainer.

News: X-Plane add-ons downloads & pictures opened!

We are opening new download and screenshots sections dedicated to X-Plane flightsim, as you may know MS has laid off it's entire Flight Simulator development team so no new official fligth sim developments will came from MS.
As consequence, the people at X-plane is aiding MSFS fans and developers to do the switch ( http://x-plane.com/ms_to_xp/ms_to_xp.html).
X-Plane add-ons developers are all welcome to start uploading here at SurClaro (http://www.surclaro.com/MultiPowUpload/upload.html), the requierments for add-ons packages be published are pretty the same as for MSFS...additionally to the add-on, it should contain a picture (jpg,gif or Png) to be used as thumbnails when published and a textfile with description, x-plane version, type and author, this information is very important to allow our editors in the add-ons categorization.
X-Plane fans you can start now to send your screenshots (Click here and select X-Plane) and if you are looking for new add-ons, please be patient until we start receiving uploads.
If you know any X-plane add-on developer and you like to invite he to upload on SurClaro, it will be greatly appreciated.

I have recently created and published a Google(tm) gadget, this gadget will show on your iGoogle home page the new uploads from SurClaro.
You can add this new gadget on your iGoogle, by just clicking on the following image...
 , this same image has been added on the right main menu block also.
I'm working on adding more interesting gadgets to iGoogle, your suggestions are welcomed!

100,000 hours each year performing important missions.
The CAP was formed in the early 1940s as an all-volunteer organization.
Today the CAP continues to provide urgent
search and rescue flights, air and ground support for
disaster relief, flying officials and staff to remote locations, transporting essential medical supplies to accident sites and
performing aerial damage assessment.
In our newest add-on Civil Air Patrol Pilot, we bring to users of Microsoft Flight Simulator some of the many important operations that these
volunteers fly each and every day.
Using Flight Simulator they'll fly some of the same missions performing critical tasks that keep the
CAP such an essential part of the our nation's resources.
