In 1994, an ambitious project was undertaken. This saw the transformation of the aircrafts standard Qantas livery into the current design. Balarinji Designs of Adelaide was commissioned to create the worlds largest flying artwork - Wunala Dreaming. Inspired by the colours of the Australian landscape and the legend of the dreamtime the original images were digitised on computer and magnified one hundred times. Two kilometres of blotting paper were used to trace the 67 patterns and 1324 dots onto the aircraft. This aircraft is made by Project Open Sky

In 1995 this aircraft was repainted in the Nalanji Dreaming theme as designed by Balarinji Studios based in Adelaide. This aircraft became the second Qantas aircraft to fly Aboriginal artwork.
