It called for a fighter that would be much more effective than any extant--with a top speed, rate of climb, maneuverability, armament, and pilot visibility, all of which would be far superior to those of any existing fighter. In addition, the fighter was required to have a low initial cost and had to be easy and inexpensive to maintain. With approximately 6,750 aircraft built, the Lockheed T-33A is by far the most successful jet trainner yet developed for service anywhere in the world. This model features animated gears, flaps, ailerons, rudder and elevators, also fully detail cockpit interior including crew and also oppening canopy using the L key. Model was tested by real USAF pilot ret. LT. COL. Ted zekke Tizekker. Model design, flight dynamics and original paint by Rey Lopez, repaint by Bob Bongiovanni
