Q: Those rotors are turning the same way. Shouldn;t they turn in opposite directions?
A: Idealy, yes. Torque is compensated for by having the rotors offset on their shafts. Check out the Tandem PicooZ for a real-world example.
Q: The handling feels odd. Why?
A: It is a very heavy tandem rotor machine with fixed-pitch rotors with pitch controlled by differential rotor speed, yaw by opposing rotor tilt and very little lateral control. Of course the handling is odd! :-)
Q: It looks like a scaled-up model helicopter. Is it?
A: Yes. A model is possible if somebody wants to pay for the tooling...
